To kick things off, we crafted a personalized video experience for over 800 million Facebook users. Through an artful blend of art, copy, and sophisticated back-end code, we delivered meaningful, tailored films that highlighted the unique friendships each user had formed.
We then allowed users to hand-select Friend Awards that they could give out to friends. Some were based on data from their social graphs, like “Never Forgets Your Birthday,” or “Always Posts the Good Stuff.” Others were just for fun, like “My Favorite Weirdo.”
